Nikki’s latest piece may only measure 4.5” wide, but conveys a lot.

We asked Nikki about this piece, and she told us: 

“Subversive knitting. Morse code messages were knit into hats or sweaters during times of war. 

“This was an illustration for Real Simple magazine where I cut code into the image as a form of subversive illustrating using the tools I have to inch us closer to peace. 

“What tools do you have? Knitting Needles? Pen? Charisma? Courageous Hope? Calm Listening?"
