Madeleine Jubilee Saito (she/her) is a cartoonist and artist from rural Illinois. She makes poetic comics about the environment and the sacred.

Madeleine was an inaugural artist-in-residence at On Being, the public radio podcast about spirituality. Her work has appeared in The Nib, Sojourners, Orion Magazine, The LA Times, and were recognized in Best American Comics 2019.

Naomi Klein called her debut collection of comics, You Are A Sacred Place: Visual Poems for Living in Climate Crisis, "a singular gift.”
