Hourly Comic Day 2025
Zine

Carson Ellis participated in Hourly Comic Day 2025 and this is the fruit of her labor. An hour-by-hour zine of her day.

While best known for her detailed paintings with incredible color stories and brush work, these stripped-down drawings are a delight.

They provide a near-fantastical look inside what it is to be an illustrator, mother and friend to cats.

Carson is the author and illustrator of the bestselling picture books Home and Du Iz Tak? and also the illustrator-in-residence for The Decemberists. She has also made illustrations for The New York Times, Poetry Magazine, The New Yorker, and more.

Staple bound zine with black and white illustrations.
