A blast from the past, Sunprints are still fun and educational for kids today!
Originally developed in 1975 as a teaching tool by educators at the Lawrence Hall of Science on the UC Berkeley campus, the Sunprint Kit has provided fun, learning and creative stimulation for the curious of all ages.
Objects that eclipse the sun’s light will show up in white, with the rest of the paper turning a vibrant Prussian Blue, with gradients in between. Make prints of physical objects or transfer digital images via transparency sheet. Layering techniques, motion, and manipulation of the paper itself are all implements in the Sunprinter’s toolbox.
Kit contains fifteen 9.25" x 12.5" sheets of Sunprint paper and one 9.25" x 12.5" acrylic pressing sheet.
