Hannah (she/they) is a writer, editor, and journalist, based in Seattle. They write about justice, the climate crisis, queerness, and the intersection between politics and the arts. Before moving to Seattle, she was the Chief Research Editor at Rolling Stone magazine, and she now works with other newsrooms to bolster their research and fact checking standards.
She's the author of Queer Power Couples: On Love and Possibility - a collection of interviews and photography of the LGBTQ+ power couples across generations, identities, and industries. It explores the impact of queer visibility and the importance of seeing queerness in the public eye. They made the book with their wife, photographer Billie Winter, for Chronicle Books.
