Yaz Rosete is an illustrator, graphic designer, painter, and photographer currently living in Portland, OR, relocated from Brooklyn, NY and native to San Diego, CA.
She graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Studio Art in 2011.
This zine was inspired by her obsession with hair and all its varieties in color and shape, unraveling into a spectrum of familiar yet unindentifiable portraits.
Each panel was painted using gouache, and a Japanese calligraphy pen.
Accordion fold, digitally printed zine features a two-layer screen printed cover and a repeating patterned background.
