Tae describes his print like this:
"I first visited Olympia, Washington in the summer of 1991 to play at the International Pop Underground Convention hosted by K Records. It was as if the curtains were drawn and the show finally started, total youth energy and perfect summer days. Love of music and community and not waiting for anything outside of ourselves to get started."
Tae was in the band Kicking Giant at the time. He has designed record covers for bands as diverse as Built to Spill and Lois Maffeo. He has worked on book covers, posters and other punk rock ephemera.
This is a digital archival print with an ample white border using an 11-color high definition ink process on archival paper.
